Well, my name is Aida and I’m that friend of yours from Ibiza.
It all started in 2023, when I unexpectedly came to Ibiza for a season. I thought I would go back to Barcelona after, but apparently, that’s not how the island works.
From the beginning, I explored Ibiza in my own way, looking straight into its soul. Stepping away from the noise and discovering places most visitors never reach. That’s when I realized there isn’t just one Ibiza. You live the version of it you choose.
There is the island everyone knows, full of parties and energy. And then there is another side. A quieter, more honest one. Wild beaches, simple places and corners where you can truly feel the island. Trendy places come and go, but the authentic ones stay. That’s the island I connected with.
The plan was to stay one season. Nice try, huh! You stay for the winter, because you become curious. You want to see the island without the noise, without the crowds. And that’s when everything changes. The beaches are empty, nature feels closer and everything slows down. That’s when you start to really feel the island. You take long walks, sit by the sea, meditate on the beach and try to be present. Winter here gives you space, and what you do with it is up to you.
Somewhere along the way, I found myself sharing recommendations with people visiting the island. One message led to another and soon I was receiving beautiful feedbacks from people who had an amazing time following my tips. That’s when I realized… why not put it all in one place?
So I created this guide.
